The "Mob" considers a question

Host Tom Akers asks the team a question
The Heartland Community College Foundation employee campaign specifically works with college employees offering them the opportunity to invest in the students they work with on a daily basis.
Recognizing the importance of higher education and the positive impact the College makes on our local community, the 2008 employee campaign kickoff was on April 9 in the Community Commons Building 1406/1407.
The interactive game "1 vs. The Mob" served as the signature event for the campaign. This interactive game pitted 6 teams from various departments against the collective audience on a variety of trivia questions. Everyone in attendance was able to participate and were eligible to win prizes for outsmarting the teams. Prizes were provided by local businesses who support Heartland and its students.
Over 70 employees have pledged support and raised $22,924 for Heartland students.
Funds from the employee campaign benefits the Foundation’s general scholarship fund or can be designated to a specific scholarship or program of the donor’s choice. Employees still have an opportunity to contribute to the campaign through a one time gift, payroll deduction or the purchase of a "brick" for the "Wall of Honor" at the Workforce Development Center.
