Endowment Fund

The endowment initiative is a principal goal of the Foundation. The endowment provides stability and flexibility for the College to continue to advance higher education for the Heartland Community College district. Donors to this fund have the long term needs of the college in their thoughts and realize the ever changing landscape that higher education has become.

With this single act of generosity, your gift will be an ongoing benefit to students. Your donation's principle contribution remains untouched with the earnings supporting the programs that have made Heartland a quality higher education institution that has access for all in our community.

Endowed Funds Management

Endowment funds of the Heartland Community College Foundation are managed by professional investment advisors. The primary objective for the advisors is to conserve and enhance the capital value of the fund in real terms, through asset appreciation and income generation. The investment strategy of the fund is to emphasize total return, which is defined as the aggregate of all returns from capital appreciation and dividend and interest income.
